We are looking for a qualified Scaffold Inspector (Competent Person) to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, compliance, and structural integrity of all scaffolding works on-site. If you are certified and passionate about maintaining high safety standards in construction, we want to hear from you!

This is a part-time position and the work location is in Subic Shipyard

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and safety officers on scaffold erection, use, and dismantling.
  • Maintain documentation of inspections and safety reports
  • Ensure compliance with DOLE and company safety standards.

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

  • Scaffolding Works NC IISupported Type Scaffold (TESDA-accredited)
  • COSH SO240-hour Construction Occupational Safety and Health Training (Safety Officer 2)
  • Advanced OSH Training (8 hours) – Accredited by DOLE, with a valid certificate in either:

    • Scaffold Safety Inspection or

    • Working at Heights with Basic Emergency Response Plan

  • Must have a valid Driver's license
  • Must be willing to work Part-time and open to work at Subic Shipyard
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on-site
