The Project Coordinator supports the effective execution of project tasks by coordinating daily activities, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timely communication among stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in maintaining project documentation, schedules, and reports in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. The Project Coordinator also assists in planning meetings, documenting discussions, and following up on action items to ensure progress remains on track.
This is a nationwide project, and we need someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country.
This position is contingent upon the award of the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day coordination of project activities and deliverables
- Track project schedules, action items, and reporting deadlines
- Assist in planning meetings, taking notes, and managing follow-ups
- Maintain and regularly update project plans, timelines, and task trackers
- Coordinate communication between internal teams and external partners
- Prepare draft reports, presentations, and briefing materials as needed
- Monitor workstream progress and flag risks or potential delays
- Help track contract or grant compliance and maintain related documentation
- Organize and manage shared folders and files to ensure proper version control
- Provide administrative support to project managers and technical leads
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- With relevant experience in government or military service
- 3+ years of experience in project planning, documentation, scheduling, and reporting in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to shifting priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
