We are seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Specialist to develop, manage, and maintain project schedules for a technical or infrastructure program. This role supports the Project Manager and Global Support Team by tracking milestones, reporting progress, and ensuring alignment with contract performance standards.
This is a nationwide project, and we need someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country.
This position is contingent upon the award of the contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in coordination with the Project Manager, technical leads, and Project Controls team
- Track project milestones, dependencies, and critical paths to support timely execution
- Support schedule-based reporting, including IPMDAR and Quarterly Program Management Reviews (QPMRs)
- Identify schedule risks and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Update and analyze schedules to reflect progress, delays, and changes
- Ensure alignment of schedules with Earned Value Management (EVM) requirements
- Maintain scheduling documentation and reporting tools in line with project controls protocols
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to align deliverable timelines
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- With relevant experience in government or military service
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project scheduling and controls, preferably on USG or infrastructure projects
- Proficient in scheduling tools such as MS Project and Primavera (P6)
- Familiar with Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical and management teams
