Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Manager Observer to oversee and monitor ongoing construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all activities align with project plans, quality standards, safety protocols, and contractual requirements. This role is vital in ensuring smooth project execution and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor daily construction activities and progress on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, project specifications, and quality standard
• Report construction issues, delays, or risks to the project management team
• Review and document project milestones, work schedules, and contractor performance.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to resolve site-related challenges.
• Provide accurate and timely updates on project status to management.

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in construction supervision, monitoring, or project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and building codes.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project team
