Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager (PM) to lead and oversee the successful execution of a major construction management and engineering services task order. As a Program Manager, you are responsible for overall task order performance, direction, and coordination of large and complex construction projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and full authority on all matters related to daily task order operations.
  • Direct and coordinate the construction management team, ensuring project obligations are met.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, quality control, and project documentation.
  • Prepare and update construction schedules using Microsoft Project.
  • Present project updates and reports to government staff, ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Analyze project costs and drive efficient, effective solutions.
  • Ensure project deliverables are professional, economical, and meet client expectations.

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of construction experience, with at least 10 years in project management and 7 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven success managing large, complex construction projects over $100M.
  • Strong knowledge of government contracting and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel to any Port of Entry within client ‘span of control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
