We are seeking a Works Supervision Specialist who will be responsible for the supervision and management of building and infrastructure works to ensure construction activities are executed in accordance with approved designs, technical specifications, quality standards, and health and safety requirements. You will provide strong site  
supervision expertise and experience managing complex construction and reconstruction works across multiple infrastructure sectors. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage building and infrastructure works throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Ensure construction activities comply with approved designs, technical specifications, and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor contractor performance, site progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to schedules.
  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, including complex safety management plans.
  • Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and project management staff to resolve technical and site related issues.
  • Support management of complex construction and reconstruction works, including reporting on progress, risks, and quality issues.

Qualifications to be successful in the role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree building engineering (civil, mechanical or electrical)  or architecture with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience or a Master’s Degree in Architecture or Building Engineering disciplines with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of proven experience in the supervision or management of building works for infrastructure projects, including: Housing, Healthcare facilities Institutional buildings, and Critical infrastructure
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience serving in a Construction Supervision Engineer or equivalent role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex construction and reconstruction works.
  • Extensive experience implementing works under complex health and safety management plans.
  • Must have a valid Professional Certification authorizing Technical Supervision for CC2 or CC3 category buildings/structures.
  • Strong construction supervision and site management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of building regulations, quality standards, and HSE requirements
  • Ability to manage complex construction environments and multiple contractors
  • Strong reporting, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capability
