Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for the overall management, coordination, and communication of infrastructure projects. You will provide strong leadership, sound technical judgment, and proven experience delivering complex, multi-sector infrastructure projects to time, cost, and quality standards. 

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage project communications with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee the implementation of infrastructure works to ensure delivery on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
• Ensure full compliance with technical standards, contractual obligations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Monitor project performance, risks, and progress, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary technical teams involved in project delivery.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Qualifications to be successful in the role: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience or master’s degree in the same disciplines with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in the capacity of Project Manager overseeing infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects in one or more of the following sectors: housing, healthcare facilities, institutional buildings, or critical infrastructure.
• Extensive experience in the implementation, supervision, and delivery of infrastructure works.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-sector infrastructure projects effectively.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.
