Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer is responsible for electrical system work on construction projects, including commercial electrical systems and commercial HVAC systems. You will ensure full compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations while supporting design reviews, installation oversight, testing, and system verification. You will also coordinate with the project team, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure optimal electrical system performance and successful project delivery.
This position is contingent upon the award of the contract and the location of assignment is in Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical engineering support for design, construction, and maintenance projects.
- Review electrical plans, specifications, and technical submittals.
- Perform electrical system evaluations, inspections, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams regarding electrical design and construction activities.
- Support testing, commissioning, and system performance verification.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
- Certified and authorized tradesperson in government regulated trades for commercial electrical systems and commercial HVAC systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction projects of similar scope, scale, and quality.
- Electrical Engineering degree or valid electrician license or equivalent professional certification.
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Ability to work on site as project needs require.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, standards, and safety practice.
- For Project Engineer, completed Part 1 of Standard Form 330 (SF 330) and detailed resume with general and project related qualifications and experience.
